Mutton Kabab


Mutton Kabab

Preparation Time: 30 min
Serves:  4-5

Ingredients:

1.    Mutton, boneless, cut into: 1
            ½" cubes:
           500 gms.
2.    Curd, beaten:  3 tbsps.
3.    Ginger-garlic paste : 2 tsps.
4.    Khus Khus( poppy seeds) : 2 tsps.
5.    Chironji( almoned shaped dry fruit) : 2 tsps.
6.     Dry Coriander: 2 tsps.
7.    Cumin seeds: 1 tsp.
8.    Pepper: 8 nos.
9.    Cloves :4 nos.
10. Onion, sliced and made into
     a paste : 1 nos.

11. Salt To taste

Method:
1. Apply ginger-garlic paste, beaten curds and onion paste to the mutton cubes.
2. Lightly roast and powder the khus-khus/ poppy seeds, chironji, dry coriander powder,      cumin seed, pepper and
cloves.
3. Sprinkle the powder  over the mutton, mix well and add salt to taste.
4. Allow the mutton to marinate for 6-8 hours.
5. Then thread each mutton piece on the skewers, baste with oil and roast over
  charcoal.

6.  Serve hot with onion rings.
